ষষ্ঠ শ্রেণির মূল্যায়ন নির্দেশিকা ইংরেজি : শিক্ষার্থীরা কোনো শিখন যোগ্যতা অর্জনের পথে কতটা অগ্রসর হচ্ছে তা পর্যবেক্ষণের সুবিধার্থে প্রতিটি একক যোগ্যতার জন্য এক বা একাধিক পারদর্শিতার সূচক (Performance Indicator, PI) নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছে। প্রতিটি পারদর্শিতার সূচকের আবার তিনটি মাত্রা নির্ধারণ করা যোগ্যতাসমূহের পারদর্শিতার সূচকসমূহ এবং তাদের তিনটি মাত্রা পরিশিষ্ট-১ এ দেয়া আছে।

প্রতিটি পারদর্শিতার সূচকের তিনটি মাত্রাকে মূল্যায়নের তথ্য সংগ্রহের সুবিধার্থে চতুর্ভুজ, বৃত্ত, বা ত্রিভুজ (ロ 〇 △) দিয়ে চিহ্নিত করা হয়েছে)। শিখনকালীন ও সামষ্টিক উভয় ক্ষেত্রেই পারদর্শিতার সূচকে অর্জিত মাত্রার উপর ভিত্তি করে শিক্ষার্থীর যোগ্যতা অর্জনের মাত্রা নির্ধারিত হবে। অর্জিত মাত্রা নিরূপণ করবেন ও রেকর্ড করবেন। এছাড়া শিক্ষাবর্ষ শুরুর ছয় মাস পর একটি এবং বছর শেষে আরেকটি যান্মাসিক সামষ্টিক মূল্যায়ন অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। সামষ্টিক মূল্যায়নে শিক্ষার্থীদের পূর্বনির্ধারিত কিছু কাজ (এসাইনমেন্ট, প্রকল্প ইত্যাদি) সম্পন্ন করতে হবে। এই প্রক্রিয়া

১. নতুন শিক্ষাক্রম বিষয়বস্তুভিত্তিক নয়, বরং যোগ্যতাভিত্তিক। এখানে শিক্ষার্থীর শিখনের উদ্দেশ্য হলো কিছু সুনির্দিষ্ট যোগ্যতা অর্জন । কাজেই শিক্ষার্থী বিষয়গত জ্ঞান কতটা মনে রাখতে পারছে তা এখন আর মূল্যায়নে মূল বিবেচ্য নয়, বরং যোগ্যতার সবকয়টি উপাদান- জ্ঞান, দক্ষতা, দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি ও মূল্যবোধের সমস্বয়ে সে কতটা পারদর্শিতা অর্জন করতে পারছে তার ভিত্তিতেই তাকে মূল্যায়ন করা হবে।

২. শিখন-শেখানো প্রক্রিয়াটি অভিজ্ঞতাভিত্তিক ৷ অর্থাৎ শিক্ষার্থী বাস্তব অভিজ্ঞতাভিত্তিক শিখনের মধ্য দিয়ে যোগ্যতা অর্জনের পথে এগিয়ে যাবে। আর এই অভিজ্ঞতা চলাকালে শিক্ষক শিক্ষার্থীর কাজ এবং আচরন পর্যবেক্ষণ করে মূল্যায়ন চালিয়ে যাবেন। প্রতিটি অভিজ্ঞতা শেষে পারদর্শিতার সূচক অনুযায়ী শিক্ষার্থীর যোগ্যতা অর্জনের মাত্রা রেকর্ড করবেন

৩. নম্বরভিত্তিক ফলাফলের পরিবর্তে এই মূল্যায়নের ফলাফল হিসেবে শিক্ষার্থীর অর্জিত যোগ্যতার (জ্ঞান, দক্ষতা, দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি ও মূল্যবোধ) বর্ণনামূলক চিত্র পাওয়া যাবে।

৪. শিক্ষক সহায়িকা অনুযায়ী একটি অভিজ্ঞতা চলাকালীন সময়ে শিক্ষার্থী যে সকল কাজের নির্দেশনা দেওয়া আছে শুধুমাত্র ওই কাজগুলকেই মূল্যায়নের জন্য বিবেচনা করতে হবে বিষয়ভিত্তিক নির্দেশনা বাইরে শিক্ষার্থীদের অতিরিক্ত কাজ করানো যাবেনা।

affirmative/negative, and interrogative- affirmative/negative in their writing, as well as the use of punctuations (full stop, question mark) in their writing.

Chapter-5: Together We are a Family

Activity 5.9 The teacher/peer/both observes the students’ practice of democratic skills (e.g., students’ ability
to listen to others attentively, respect others’ opinions and respond logically) during a classroom discussion.

Chapter-6: The Missing Tenth Man

Activity 6.8 The teacher examines the learners’ scripts to see whether the learners can appropriately use different linguistic features (e.g. capitalization, punctuation marks) in their writing.
